Parent
and Student Regulation 1.
Parents must register
for classes by following the registration schedule, and pay tuitions and
security deposits. 2.
Parents must
teach their children to abide by school rules and regulations. 3.
Parents are
responsible for their children’s medical and accidental insurance while at
school. 4.
Parents must
sign agreement to abide by OCS and the host school’s rules and regulations. 5.
Students must
observe class rules:no loud noise or littering. 6.
Students must
abide by the facility rules and avoid causing any damage to school property.
7.
Students must
not take anything in the classroom that does not belong to them. 8.
No cell phones
or other electronic devices are allowed in class. 9.
No food or drink,
except for water, is allowed in the classroom. 10.
No roller
skates or skate boards are allowed inside the school building. 11.
Student
volunteers are responsible for assisting teachers with teaching materials
and classroom activities. 12.
Parents must
supervise their children during class breaks to ensure safety. 13.
Emergency exits
are for emergency only and must not be used in non-emergencies. 14.
Parents must
teach their children to abide by school rules and regulations. The school
reserves the right to expel, upon recommendation of the teacher, any student
who has received multiple warnings without showing any improvement. No
tuition will be refunded. 15.
For students
with special needs, parents can apply to the school Administration Team to
accompany the students in class. 16.
Parents must
not loiter in the hallways or make loud noises when classes are in session. 17.
Parents must
not park in fire lanes or staff parking areas. 18.
Parents should
read emails from school before class every week to ensure prompt receipt of
any notifications. 19.
Parents on duty
must sign in at the office and carry out patrol duty in designated areas. 20.
If unable to
report to duty as scheduled, the parent should coordinate and find a
substitute. If no substitute is available, the parent should let PTO know no
later than Thursday before the duty day. 21.
The school
reserves the right to cash the parent’s security deposit if the parent
misses the assigned duty and fails to make it up within the same semester. 22.
Parents on duty
should assist the teacher with maintaining order in the classroom and
supervising the students. 23.
Parents must
drop off or pick up their children in the designated areas on time. 24.
Middle and high
school students can apply to become student volunteers. OCS will provide an annual volunteer hours
report to student volunteers.
